This half day course is aimed at GP's and Practice Managers. The course is taught by GP's who have experience in both writing, and assessing for GP practice tenders.

The course will provide an insight into the tendering process and teach delegates how best to complete documents in preparation for any tender.

1. Advert (MOI)
2. Reply (EOI)
3. Initial shortlist (PQQ)
4. Final Application (ITT)
5. Award of Contract

Terms:
MOI: Memorandum of Information
EOI: Expression of Interest
PQQ: Pre Qualification Questionnaire
ITT: Invitation to Tender
This course will concentrate on the "The Pre Qualification Questionnaire" (PQQs) aspect of tendering. At the end of the course you will be able to complete your own PQQ. The course will cover such areas as:
  • why PQQs are used for procurement;
  • the context and process;
  • general information including terminology and the documents required;
  • the advert and Memorandum of Information;
  • preparing for the PQQ;
  • completing and submitting the PQQ;
We will also provide examples of potential errors and information on what to look for from the PCT.

It is a half day course, and is run in conjunction with Prospect Health.

Prospect Health will require delegates to sign a confidentiality agreement on the day, to protect commercially sensitive information shared on the day.
